CAPT. GEORGE DIXON MORROW - ROYAL CANADIAN ARTILLERY

Morrow's body was found washed ashore at Renvyle, Co. Galway on 27 May 1941. He was buried in Ballinakill (St. Thomas) Church of Ireland Churchyard, Grave 132, but no date given. Home address: 22 Alloway Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. [ref. Martin Gleeson]. Morrow was age 56, son of William and Esther Ann Morrow, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Headstone inscription shows: Captain G.D. Morrow, Royal Canadian Artillery, 30th April 1941, age 56. Until the Day Breaks and the Shadows Flee Away.
