He was 38 years old, the son of John and Evelyn Tree and husband of Gertrude Mary Tree. He was from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Headstone inscription shows: Flight Lieutenant J.V. Tree, Royal Air Force, 30th April 1941, Age 38.
